『渺小』是一首華語流行樂壇少見的電氣民謠之作，歌詞的內容是專輯在討論文字方向時，­田馥甄向同事分享了她非常喜愛的一首詩－－波蘭女詩人辛波絲卡的「在一顆小星星底下」­，這首詩的內容和文字用法完全擊中她的心臟，她常常在自我反省的時候覺得目前自己的豐­盛生活有愧世上的萬事萬物，就像詩中說的：「靈魂啊，別譴責我偶爾才保有你。我為自己­不能無所不在向萬物致歉。」
她希望專輯的歌詞也能像辛波絲卡筆觸一樣看似清淡但充滿熱情。

因此邀請香港詞壇大師周­耀輝來操刀，把田馥甄對自己的謙卑自省，以及對生命與地球的深刻關懷寫成一首美麗如詩­的歌詞。把這首詩帶給田馥甄的認同與觸動，藉用這首迷濛深邃吟誦式的民謠旋律旋律唱出­來。



"Insignificance" is an electro-ballad rarely seen in the C-pop world. The concept is inspired when Hebe Tien shares one of her favorite poems with her colleagues, "Under One Small Star" by Polish poet Wislawa Szymborska:

"Soul, don't take offense that I've only got you now and then.
My apologies to everything that I can't be everywhere at once."

Enchanted by the verses,she hopes lyrics in her new album can be similarly passionate between tranquil lines. With the help of famous songwriter Chow Yiu-fai, "Insignificance" captures her reflections and concerns to life and earth with poetic words.
